March 27, 2006: Will: Huey? Shouldn't you be in "The Boondocks?" Huey: @#$% no! We're taking a six-month break to recharge our batteries! Will: I didn't realize comic strip writing was so exhausting. Huey: @#$%, yeah! You think it's easy rewriting the same anti-Bush joke 579 different ways? Will: I never really thought about it. Huey: I could just glare, like this, but that gets old after a few hundred times, too.
March 29, 2006: Kepler: Why are you so angry, Juey? Huey: Why aren't you angry? We live in a fascist society! Dissent is gone in America and cartoons are under fire! Any comic that questions the war in Iraq is oppressed by the corporate-run, government-controlled media! Kepler: You're right! I haven't seen any cartoons critical of the Iraq war! Huey: The media's relentless pro-Bush-ery sickens me.
March 31, 2006: Al: iPod, eh? So, what is the average militant revolutionary listening to these days? Huey: No! Give it back! Huey's iPod: Why do birds suddenly appear everytime you are near? Just like me they long to be close to you. Huey: Uh... I put that on there by accident. Al: Uh-huh. I see you "accidentally" placed it in your "show tunes" playlist.
