June 30, 2003: Kepler: We've celebrated past Independence Days by pushin objects out of the airlock to burn them up in the atmosphere. This year, we've evolved... this balloon is filled with marshmallows. When we release it outside, lack of air pressure will cause the balloon to explode, then the individual marshmallows will similarly inflate and explode! Mitch: A lot of science goes into blowing stuff up. Kepler: And then all of the pieces will burn up in the atmosphere!
July 2, 2003: Mitch: What's blowing up now, Kepler? Kepler: Potato chip bags! Not only do the pressurized bags make a satisfying bang, but the individual chips are spectacular once they burn up on re-entry. Mitch: But why so many bags? Kepler: No one can over-heat just one!
July 4, 2003: Mitch: Kepler? Why did you stop blowing stuff up? Kepler: I got caught watching this "Twilight Zone" marathon on the Sci-Fi channel. I'm just waiting for a bad episode to come on. Mitch: You're waiting for a bad episode of "The Twilight Zone" on the Sci-Fi Channel? Kepler: I know... I've been here for six hours.
