Exploring the world of comic strips through vague Japanese poetry.

- Haikus are a form of poetry that consists of three lines with five, seven, then five syllables on each respective line. For example...
Rockwood is in space (5 syllables)
On a circular station (7 syllables)
Looking down on Earth (5 syllables)
Obviously, that's pretty boring, but technically correct. Try to do more than just count syllables. Be creative!
- The haiku you submit doesn't necessarily have to have Rockwood mentioned in it, but it would be nice if it related to something in the site somehow, whether it be space-related or just pertaining to a topic brought up elsewhere.
On with the haikus!
Haiku number one starts the week off right, noting that we ask for so very little...
Brian, you are quite a guy. We enjoy your labors for nothing. What will we do when you require a subscription to have a weekday laugh?
Buy a calendar!
Help Rockwood linger in space.
Or, enjoy for free.

Haiku number two show how much timing is important. If only he'd had the oppotunity and the cash at the same time...
Rockwood Comic site,
Up for grabs and I missed it?
I'm broke anyway.
May Seventh? Awesome!
MBA over and done.
Time to make some cash.
--Sarcasmo
Haiku number three's author shouldn't have been making deals that will keep the Empire out of here forever...
"It wasn't my fault!
I trusted them to fix it!"
I've heard that before...
-- The Jedi
Haiku number four wins Haiku of the Week because these are good times indeed...
Tiger, it is here!
On my shiny new G5!
I am in heaven!
Oh, spotlight, dashboard
You are super neat and stuff
Worth one twenty nine?
I needn't worry.
You were on my mac to start.
Time for some more games!
On a small tangent -
Hitchhikers, Star Wars, Tiger
Good times for us geeks.
--Greg
