Exploring the world of comic strips through vague Japanese poetry.

- Haikus are a form of poetry that consists of three lines with five, seven, then five syllables on each respective line. For example...
Rockwood is in space (5 syllables)
On a circular station (7 syllables)
Looking down on Earth (5 syllables)
Obviously, that's pretty boring, but technically correct. Try to do more than just count syllables. Be creative!
- The haiku you submit doesn't necessarily have to have Rockwood mentioned in it, but it would be nice if it related to something in the site somehow, whether it be space-related or just pertaining to a topic brought up elsewhere.
On with the haikus!
Haiku number one wishes everyone a fine holiday season...
Happy Chanuka,
a Happy New Year as well,
Best wishes to all!
--TheShked
Haiku number two wishes Team Rockwood a fine holiday season...
The Year of Rockwood
Happy New Year Team Rockwood
Best is yet to come.
--Sarcasmo
Haiku number three shares its opinions of the latest movie blockbusters...
King Kong was too long.
Chronicles of Narnia
Good movie for all
Effects were so neat
Adults jumped out of their seats.
Not so for the ape.
--Bad Panda
And haiku number four gets Haiku of the Week for saying goodbye to an old friend on Monday nights...
Monday Night Football:
I don't like ESPN
ABC was best
Fox football is par.
Much better than their baseball:
Horrors of horrors.
--Mike Leatherwood
