Express yourself!
Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)
So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

Good points about the NCAA and playoffs. I don't think people really understand the difference between college football and college basketball. You just can't play football with less than a week of rest, and that means a huge time problem.

Very true, Stephen. Another consideration: when comparing the BCS to the basketball tournament, everyone always picks the best case scenarios. For instance, this year the popular whine is that Auburn got cheated and that a playoff would fix the situation. Maybe it would. OR, maybe it would make it worse.
In the "superior" 2004 NCAA basketball tournament, the final game pitted number-two-seed Connecticut versus number-three-seed Georgia Tech. At best, using BCS numbers, that would be a fifth-ranked team versus a ninth-ranked team. In a year where three major schools finished undefeated, what kind of ratings would ABC get for a California versus Boise State Orange Bowl? Yawn.
As Oklahoma fans, we're obviously biased as to who we think should be in the Orange Bowl, but for all of you who don't care about either OU or USC, don't you at least think that this game --the National Championship-- is probably the best matchup of any of the bowls? In the end, that is the whole point behind the BCS. So in this case, we think it worked just fine.
