Express yourself!

Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)

So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

Been reviewing the archives. Bad Cathy and DFC are so ridiculously funny. Didn't know you had it in you. Bravo!

Brian:

You ought to dig out some of the old ones from the Daily and post em. Not like copyright or anything would get in the way. ;)

Boomer!

The Daily?! Long time reader, first time writer, eh Jasen?

Well, although we have dipped into the past on special occasions (third strip down), the truth is that Team Rockwood gets so much material from the present that it hardly needs to reach into the past. But as an example, one of our long-term goals is to digitize all of the Rockwood comic strips and distribute them on a CD. How long-term is this goal, you ask? Well, we've been talking about it since 2000 and we haven't started yet. Perhaps you'll be able to purchase it with some of the money you receive from your privatized Social Security funds, but we wouldn't count on it being ready by then, either.

I have to say, I was extremely impressed with the trailer. Revenge of the Sith seems like a real movie this time. With GOOD (okay, decent, maybe) acting. And a plot!

--Syn

We actually liked the first two episodes, Syn (okay, we liked "Clones" more than "Menace"), but we will admit we thought they were flawed, and because of that we view "Revenge Of The Sith" with a leary eye.

At least, that's what our official line was until we saw the trailer. Now we're just suckers circling the date on our calendar. It can be reasonably argued that George Lucas might have lost his touch in being able to put together a great movie, but we'll be damned if he doesn't know how to make a great trailer!

By the way, if you're in the Oklahoma City are on May 19th, we'll be in line for the midnight show. Watch for us! We'll be the ones with "sucker" stamped on our foreheads right over our giddy grins.

Surfed in from NRO - funny stuff! Will definitely be back...

--John

Thanks, John! You know, about half the time we get a link from an outside source it's because we've solicited it ourselves (if you're an artist, you have to self-promote... no one else is going to do it for you). This one was a pleasant surprise. Especially since it came from NRO's resident math geek. We are upset, however, that Derb didn't take the chance to solve any of our story problems. They're a bit easier than the ones that he asks his readers to solve, but then, he has more space.

Didja see where your "pi-day" strip got a mention from The Corner at National Review Online? Congratulations!!

--David C. Matthews

Thank you, David! We're always happy when Rockwood gets noticed somewhere outside of its normal little realm. Hopefully all of those NRO readers will stick around and read some other pages. Or perhaps... just maybe... buy a 2005 Rockwood Calendar. Hey, NRO readers! They're nearly 40 percent off! Get one before they're gone!
