Express yourself!
Have you always wanted to let Team Rockwood know just what you were thinking? Do you wonder why the panels of the strip are laid out horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you have sensitive documents that will bring down the government? In any case, we want to know! Just fill out your name and e-mail address, then let 'er rip! No question or comment is too bizarre for Team Rockwood to take a stab at, and if we can get enough mail coming in, this page will be updated weekly! (Unlike the old mailbag page, which got updated about four times in two years.)
So consider this an experiment in web interactivity. Or, consider it a way to artificially inflate our hit count. Either way, just write in!

Any bets on who will win the "Ulitmate" Jeopardy! Tournament? Ken Jennings, or someone else?
--James

Well, although the list of players is long, we'd have to pick Ken, James. Of all of the past champions, he's the one with the most recent experience, and we think he'd get right back into the groove that allowed him to rack up all of his previous winnings.
Of course, we also picked Kansas to play in the final, so what do we know?

How sad. I was wondering what would happen if no one wrote in to Haiku Thursday...

And now you know, Syn. Let that be a lesson to all of you who think that you can just let someone else write haikus for your enjoyment. You have to pull your own weight sometime, people!

I sort of disagree and agree with Team Rockwood at the same time. I don't really like Phantom Menace. It was almost all eye candy special effects. The story didn't seem like it was there (Midichlorians, anyone?) and seriously, young Anakin really got on my nerves. Like, more than Jar-Jar. The end fight scene was good. And I really liked Liam as Qui Gon. Also on the bright side, Weird Al's parody The Saga Begins is great.
Ep 2 was better, both story-wise and villian-wise (Dooku vs Darth Maul? No contest, Dooku wins hands down.) Plus Yoda kicked major butt. Best fight scene in the series possibly. My biggest problem was Amidala's clothes on Naboo. The ambassador was, I'm sorry, quite a sluttly little dresser. Talk about mixed messages. She's walking around all scantily while she's telling Anakin "we can only be friends." Whatever. She's practically in a bondage outfit during their fireside heart to heart and they agree they could never live a lie. Yeah.
Looking forward to Ep 3 as much as Team Rockwood. Call me an eternal optimist. My friends and I will be in line for the midnight show here in Indy. But luckily we only have to wait another month for a Star Wars fix.
So....anyone from Team Rockwood gonna make it to Star Wars Celebration III here in Indianapolis? It's going to rock! Got my ticket pre-ordered with the exclusive Vader topper. I can't wait until April 21st or May 19th. (Well, I can wait, I will wait, but you know the anticipation is killing me...)

We're tempted, Mikki, but Indianapolis is a little far to travel even for our level of geekdom. We're just going to have to be content with showing up for the May 19th midnight show.
In the meantime, consider yourself the official Team Rockwood representative for the Star Wars Celebration. We'll be expecting a full report, of course.

Obvious candidates for investigation: the entire cast of Gil Thorp! Though I don't know if anyone even knows that strip exists at this point.

We're guessing no one knows they exist because no one in Thorp-land is on the juice, Robert. Believe us, you'd hear all about them if suddenly those high school kids started pounding shots over the center field fences. But since they labor in anonymity, we're going to guess that they're clean.
On the other hand, look at Tank McNamara's jaw. You think that is natural? C'mon!
