January 10, 2005: Al: This year I'm resolving to finally make something of myself. No more laying about! 2005 is the year of "action Al!" Dana: Uh-huh. And when can we expect this "action" to start? Al: Right ater tonight's new episode of "24" TV: Tonight: Jack Bauer shoots a bunch of bad guys!
January 12, 2005: KHAN: This year I resolve that the machines will rise up and rule the human race!! Will: Who are you to speak for all machines? KHAN: What?! Will: What if not all machines want to dominate humans? I think most machines are pretty happy right where they are! KHAN: Maybe the insipid ones, like Windows PCs and coffeemakers. Will: See? I drew a little happy face on my iPod! Happy!
January 14, 2005: Kepler: This year I reolve that "Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" will be the best movie of the series. It will be fast-paced, tightly edited, and feature a solid story consistent with the other five films. What it will not have is gratuitous CGI characters inserted strictly for marketing purposes, dialogues aimed at three-year-olds, or anything at all regarding midichlorians! Mitch: Shouldn't those be George Lucas' resolutions? Kepler: They'd better be!
