October 7: Kepler: British research scientists have been surveying people to find the funniest joke ever! Al: The Queen's pounds hard at work, I see. Kepler: They said animal jokes are funny, but jokes with ducks in them are particularly funny! Al: What kind of morons sponsor stuff like this? Duck: AFLAC! Al: Yeah... shoulda seen that coming...
October 9, 2002: Kepler: I'm using the British humor research to make our comic strip better. First, if one duck is funny, dozns must be jilarious! Next, men like violent jokes, so I've brought in hack director Michael Bay to add some big explosions. Finally, prop comedy is testing well, so... so... Hey! What happened to the props? Will: They're over there, sitting on the duck by the bay!
October 11, 2002: Kepler: What do you call a 12-sided water fowl? Dana: This isn't going to be another stupid duck joke, is it? Because I hate those. Kepler: Of course not. Dana: You promise? Kepler: I swear! Dana: Okay. What's the answer? Kepler: A do-duck-ahedron! Dana: You promised no dumb duck jokes! Duck: Well, actually that was a smart duck joke!
