Tell me about it!

September 8, 2008: Kepler: Scientists are about to start the Large Hadron Collider, a particle accelerator that could create a Higgs Boson. Alternately, it could create anti-matter, or a black hole that could destroy the Earth. Mitch: I'm not sure I like those options. Kepler: I've got my camera set up just in case! September 10, 2008: Skip: There's a one-in-a-trillion chance that the Large Hadron Collider will create a black hole that swallows the planet. So I created a lottery on Earth where people can bet one of their dollars to win my trillion dollars if the LHC destroys the Earth. Will: Because if it does, there's no one left to collect. Skip: I've made two million bucks in sucker bets so far, Dude! September 12, 2008: Kepler: Everyone was worried for nothing. See? The L.H.C. didn't create a new black hole. (POP! The Earth disappears. BOING! It reappears.) Hmm... a wormhole on the other hand... Al: What was that?!
