August 27, 2001: Will: The Powerball Lotto paid four people $295 million this week. Al: That's a lot of losing tickets. What kind of chump plays the lottery? Skip: Hey, dudes! Guess what I won Saturday! Al: You have got to be kidding me!
August 29, 2001: Will: I can't believe you won the lottery, Skip. Skip: With my strategy, I couldn't lose! Will: Strategy? What numbers did you pick? Skip: All of them. I bought 80 million tickets! Will: Skip! You lost money playing the lottery? Skip: Dude, everyone loses money playing the lottery!
August 31, 2001: Skip: When the lottery goes over $200 million, I can make a profit by buying $80 million in tickets, provided no one else wins. It's rich-guy gambling, dude! In this case, I lost that gamble when four other people won, too. But I like winning, just like all the other winners. Will: Uh-huh. So what's the first thing you're going to do with your winnings? Skip: Pay off the trailer house! Yee-ha!
