Tell me about it!

October 8, 2007: Mitch: It's finally Columbus Day. Sigh. I guess tomorrow I'll have to take down the decorations. Al: Wait. you have Columbus Day decorations? Mitch: Sure. Doesn't everyone? Al: I've never heard of anyone having them. Mitch: Well, that explains why you keep missing the gift exchange. October 10, 2007: al: Why so glum? Kepler: Albert Fert and Peter Gruenberg won the Nobel Prize in Physics! Al: Well... who wouldn't be upset? Kepler: I just traded them off of my Nobel fantasy team! Al: Maybe the rest of your team will save you. Kepler: Psh! I doubt it. My chemistry starters are particularly weak. October 12, 2007: Mitch: Exciting news! The new "Zune" is out! Dana: Zune? Oh yeah! I love that! It's crisp and kind of fruity. Mitch: You're thinking of Zima. Dana: Zune was very popular in my college sorority. Good times.
