July 3, 2006: Kepler: Al, what do cartoonists do when they want to take a holiday off? Al: They employ their army of writers and artists to do a strip for them. Kepler: What if they don't have such an army? Al: What kind of pathetic cartoonist is that? Kepler: You know... hypothetically. Al: Well, there's always PhotoShop, but that's just cheating. July 5, 2006: Kepler: Yesterday the U.S. launced the Space Shuttle and North Korea launched a Taepodong-2 rocket. The shuttle made it successfully to orbit. The Taepodong-2 blew up about 40 seconds after launch. Al: I guess Kim Jong-Il showed us, hmm? Kepler: Party spokesmen said that because fuel was needed for the rocket over tractors, winter food rations will have to be cut in half this year.
