December 6, 2004: Skip: I just mad a fortune betting on the BCS pairings, Dude! Will: You be on a OU - USC Orange Bowl? Skip: No. Will: You bet on Texas over Cal for the Rose Bowl? Skip: Nope. Will: Well, what then? Skip: I bet that all of the sports channels would wine about the outcome, regardless. Will: Easy money.
December 8, 2004: Kepler: Because of all the controversy, I've developed my own BCS computer! Al: Uh-huh. Does it put Cal in the Rose Bowl? Kepler: Let's see (looks at Magic 8 Ball box) Reply hazy. Try again. Al: Yep. Sounds like the BCS, all right.
December 10, 2004: Kepler: My BCS calculations are different than the other computer polls. I left the "style points" in. Al: Style points? What do you use for style... skimpiness of cheerleaders' outfits? Kepler: If it's good for ratings, it's good for the BCS!
